Participation in the event “Voices of the Veteran Community: From Idea to Action”
Yesterday, our team participated in an event organized by the First Adult Education Center, which was dedicated to the topic “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities.”
Among the participants were government representatives, including Olena Sorochenko, Head of the Department for Veteran Policy at ZOVA. During the event, prospects for cooperation and interaction between organizations supporting veterans.
The main topics for discussion were:
problematic issues faced by active military personnel and veterans,
possible ways to solve these problems,
educational opportunities for reintegration.
Together with like-minded people – veterans, families of military personnel and prisoners of war, and representatives of the public sector – we developed an action plan, exchanged ideas and contacts for further interaction.
We sincerely thank the organizers for providing the opportunity to communicate and create a platform for effective cooperation! We are not stopping - there is a lot of important work ahead.
