This week we participated in an important event dedicated to establishing cooperation between organizations that support veterans and their family members, including persons with disabilities.
These meetings are not just an introduction, but a necessary step towards effective interaction. After all, when a veteran asks for help, it is important not to simply answer “this is not our area”, but to find a solution: transfer the request to the appropriate organization, refer to specialists who can help. To do this, you need to know who can be useful and in what matters.
In addition to presenting our activities, we discussed existing gaps in support, including those issues that remain difficult and painful for veterans.
