Last week, November 28–29, our organization, together with representatives of Zaporizhzhia public associations, participated in the Forum of Regional Associations in Lviv.
The two days of the forum became a space for in-depth discussions, exchange of experiences, and development of solutions that strengthen the role and voice of civil society in the regions.
We talked about the evolution of the public sector, challenges, continuity, and new development prospects — in dialogue with leading experts and active organizations from various fields.
✨ The main event of the forum is the signing of the Memorandum of Intent to create the All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations.
The document was signed by representatives of regional associations from Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhia and Odessa regions, as well as the Union "Civil Initiatives of Ukraine".
This memorandum is not just about cooperation.
This is a roadmap to forming a powerful nationwide platform that will coordinate actions, strengthen capacity, and represent the interests of civil society organizations throughout Ukraine.
The forum has ended, but a new stage begins - joint work on the creation of the All-Ukrainian Association, which will be an important step in the development of a strong, independent, and influential civil society.
