In September 2024, specialists from the Zaporizhzhia branch of the Ortosano clinic conducted 21 initial consultations for veterans, military personnel and their families. During the consultations, issues related to health status, diagnostics and determination of individual rehabilitation programs were discussed.
Rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring the physical and psycho-emotional state of 10 active military personnel and 7 veterans have also been launched. Support is provided by qualified specialists of the clinic, taking into account the individual needs of each program participant.
Main reasons for appeals
Analyzing the reasons for referrals to the clinic, we note that the majority of patients seek help due to the consequences of mine and explosive injuries and injuries received during hostilities. These conditions require not only physical rehabilitation, but also significant psychological support, as they have a significant impact on the emotional state of patients.
Future plans and prospects
Clinic "Ortosano" and Charity Foundation "Zaporizhzhya Heart" intend to continue and expand cooperation. Future plans include increasing the number of consultations and expanding access to rehabilitation services, especially for veterans and military personnel who need comprehensive support and long-term rehabilitation.
The joint efforts of "Ortosano" and "Zaporizhy Serts" are aimed at ensuring access to quality medical care for the defenders of Ukraine and their family members. The first results of cooperation already demonstrate the high effectiveness of this partnership and confirm the need for further development of the project.
